Using the angle grinder: 8 Simple Rules

  1. Checking the autonomy: thanks to the special indicator, you can keep an eye on the charge level in battery-powered grinders;
  2. Changing discs: check the expiry date of the cloth discs and use the most suitable blade for the job;
  3. Keeping a proper grip: use work gloves to get a firm, ergonomic grip during complex work;
  4. Disc compatibility: before starting the disc grinder, check that the grinder accessories are compatible with the tool provided;
  5. Beware of force: in case of the resistance of the material, avoid applying more pressure. This could lead to bending of the disc or dangerous backlash;
  6. Store it inside a case: to prevent the grinder from getting damaged, once you turn it off, store it inside a case. This will keep the power tool from being exposed to moisture in the air and faster wear;
  7. Create a support area: Keeping an object on a stable support will prevent it from becoming unbalanced during machining;
  8. Wear PPE: work gloves and face and eye protection devices are essential when using a small or large grinder.
